Embarassing to say, but over the past five years as my allergies worsened so did my scalp. I had gotten to the point that not only did I have extremely oily hair I started to get dandruff that got progressively worse over time until I had awful itching and huge flakes in my hair. I tried Head & Shoulders, and then switched to T-Gel, and then to clinical T-Gel, all with absolutely no resolution. I also have colored hair and these products caused fading. Since they didn’t work anyway I just thought I had to suffer and started using a Sulfate free shampoo so at least my color would last longer but the itching and scalp buildup finally got the best of me. I started thinking maybe I could find a Sulfate free shampoo that would stop this severe dandruff and found Regenepure DR. I decided to give it a try. It took three seperate washings until I my scalp was completely free of the severe dandruff, but it totally cleared my scalp up. I no longer itch at all, even if I go 4 days without washing my hair. It still gets oily as all get out by the third day, but serioulsy not one flake or the even the tiniest bit of itching. Even though I have a very thick head of hair and wasn’t looking to prevent hair loss, I have noticed about 50% less hair in the drain after I wash than I used to experience before using Regenepure DR. I follow the directions and let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing and it leaves my scalp feeling fresh. This stuff is very expensive, and I thought I used expensive sulfate stuff to begin with, but I have found a thrifty way to make the investment not so painful. I first thoroughly wash all my hair with my regular sulfate free shampoo, because I can be a bit more liberal with it. Then I rinse and use about a quarter sized amount to just scrub into my scalp, that way I am not wasting this very expensive shampoo washing my hair too. The bottle should last alot longer doing it that way. I highly recommend this shampoo since it is the ONLY one that I have used for dandruff that worked.
