Foods for Teeth Whitening

Strong teeth go with good eating and white teeth make your smile more beautiful and you feel more confident when communicating. Thus, possessing healthy and white teeth is advantageous. Dark beverages like coffee, soda, tomato sauce are not good for your teeth. In contrast, they stain your teeth. Too many people spend lots of money on products to whiten teeth. But, why not try at-home products which are inexpensive and can quickly and safely whiten your teeth?

 

Apples and carrots

Apples and carrots are rich in vitamin C, which prevents gum diseases and kills odor-causing bacteria, according to Dr. Michael Apa specializing in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. Both fruits can fade the hard dental plaque during the process of chewing.

Strawberries

Straw in dark beverages like grape juice and soda allows food dyes to bypass teeth altogether.

 

Diary products

Dairy products are effective at cleaning and whitening the teeth. They contain lactic acid, which reduces gum disease. Additionally, they are rich in calcium and vitamin D, which are significant to healthy teeth and jawbone.
